Pizza is something which none of us can say No to. Kids often demand for pizza hence I often try to make that at home. In the current difficult times when many of us are hardly stepping and out of our houses and thinking twice before ordering any outside food, still crave for something good to eat because good food works as a stress buster and lightens up the mood. Therefore, I am sharing the recipe for an easy “NoOven VeggieDelight Pizza- Veg Pizza without Oven – Veggie Delite pizza on Pan” which we can easily be prepared at home and believe me it will taste very similar to what we get from the Pizza outlets. Here is the detailed recipe for the Pizza that too without using the oven.

Recipe:

For making the pizza base:1. First of all, take 1/4 cup of lukewarm water and add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix well.

2. Add 1.5 tablespoons of active dry yeast and mix well again. Keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes.

3. After 10 minutes, the mixture will turn frothy & rises up. If it does not happen, check for the expiry date of the yeast. It should be fresh & of good quality.4. Now, take 2 cups of maida in a mixing bowl. Add 1/2 tablespoon salt, 2 tablespoons oil, 1/2 tablespoon oregano and mix well. 

5. Add the yeast mixture to the flour and mix well. Add water as required to knead the dough.
6. Apply a little oil on the dough, cover it with a damp cloth and keep aside for 1-2 hours.

7. After an hour or two, the dough will rise upto double it’s original size. If it doesn’t happen, check for the expiry date of the yeast as mentioned in the “Notes” section above. 

For making the pizza base:
1. Punch the dough,knead it well again and tuck it to make smooth. Now, take a big ball sized portion of the dough. Dust it with flour.

9. Flatten and stretch it using palms & fingers.

10. Take a tawa or a flat base pan and apply butter at the base thoroughly. Transfer the flattened dough onto the tawa. Press gently around the edges and make dents throughout using a fork.

For making the toppings:
1. Apply butter on the pizza base generously and evenly spread 3-4 tablespoons of pizza sauce. 

2. Start arranging the toppings evenly throughout the base like sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, sliced capsicums, paneer cubes and baby corns.

3. Now, generously spread mozzarella cheese and cheese slices broken into small pieces. Sprinkle the mixed herbs italian seasonings & chilli flakes. Add 1 tablespoon of butter but that is optional.

4. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on the lowest flame for around 10 minutes. Keep checking in between so that the base does not burn and should not remain raw. Let the cheese melt thoroughly and the base cook well. Turn off the heat. Serve hot and enjoy! 😊
