Pancakes are good English breakfast which are often combined with Maple syrup and fruits. There are a variety of pancakes like oats, banana, honey almond and chocolate are one of those.

I often make pancakes for breakfast with a different tasty and healthy twist every time and my family loves it a lot. I will soon be sharing the recipe for banana, apple, honey oats pan even the dora pan cakes in my blog and my channel soon. 🙂

Being an English breakfast option these are usually made with eggs but I am making the same fluffy & soft pancakes without eggs.

For this recipe, I have used multigrain flour ( which consists of wheat flour, rice flour, maize, soyabean flour, millets, gram flour and flax seeds powder) instead of the refined flour which makes it even more healthier as compared to the ones made with refined flour.

I had added unsweetened cocoa powder, brown sugar instead of the regular refined white sugar and further garnished with some chocolate sauce.

Brown sugar is less sweet than the regular sugar and it is unrefined which again gave a healthy twist to the pan cakes.

Recipe for Multigrain Eggless Chocolate Pancakes

  1. Take one cup of multigrain/whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl.

2. Add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder.

3. Add brown sugar to taste.

4. Further add 1/2 tablespoon baking soda.

5. Now, add 1 tablespoon baking powder

6. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla essence.

7. Mix everything together.

8. Gradually start adding warm milk and keep whisking.

9. Whisk continuously to make a thick lump free flowing batter. Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

10. Now, take a pan and add 1 tablespoon butter on it.

11. Pour a small ladle-full of batter on the pan and don’t spread.

12. Cover with a lid and let it cook on a low flame until it gets cooked from the bottom.

13. Now flip the cake and cook for the other side by covering.

14. Once cooked well, it is ready to be served.

15. Garnish with some chocolate sauce.

16. And some cherries.

17.Serve enjoy with a hot cup of coffee or just like that.
