This recipe is one of my favourites as I like Paneer, rice and I am a big time desi food fan. Hence, I often make it at home with Paneer and lots of veggies. It is a very healthy wholesome meal for the family and for the kids too.

This is not really like the “Chinese Fried Rice” but the process is completely indian with the whole spices. I usually combine it with Onion tomato raita but it can be taken with plain curd or any gravy or can be eated just like that when hot.

Ingredients:

Paneer Fried Rice Recipe

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add paneer cubes.

2. Shallow fry at a low flame until they turn golden brown.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in another pan and add all the whole spices and slit green shillies. Let then crackle.

3. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.

4. Now add all the veggies and cook for 5-6 minutes at a medium flame.

5. Further add salt, red chilli powder and mix well. Add cooked rice.

6. Add garam masala and mix well

7. Lastly add paneer cubes and gently mix. Don’t overmix.

8. Cover for 2 minutes and serve hot. Enjoy with urd or raita.
